Under the Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC) scheme, students from Bihar can take an education loan for course fees and study-related costs, and repay it after completing the course.

  • Permanent resident of Bihar
  • Passed 12th from Bihar or a school within the state's eligibility rules
  • Admitted to a recognised course such as BBA, BCA, BJMC or BLIBS
  • Within the age limit set by the scheme
Documents required
  • Aadhaar card and PAN card of student and co-applicant
  • 10th and 12th marksheets and certificates
  • Residential certificate of Bihar
  • Admission letter and fee structure from the institute
  • Bank statement of the last 6 months (co-applicant)
  • Passport-size photographs

How to get your credit card

  1. Take admission at PE Institute

    We issue your admission letter and the fee structure needed for the loan.

  2. Register online

    Apply on the Mukhyamantri Nishchay Swayam Sahayata portal. Our team can help you fill the form.

  3. Visit your DRCC

    Go to your District Registration and Counselling Centre on the given date with original documents.

  4. Loan sanction

    After verification, the loan is sanctioned by the Bihar State Education Finance Corporation.

  5. Fee paid to the institute

    The fee is released directly to PE Institute each semester, so you can focus on studying.
